Vigyaan College of Applied Sciences (VICAS) is a self- financing Arts and Science College affiliated to the University of Kerala and recognized by the Government of Kerala.
VICAS is managed by KS Nair Foundation, a philanthropic Trust established in the year 2012. VICAS strives to maintain academic excellence by deploying efficient team of faculty appointed as per UGC/University norms.

The VICAS campus is spread over 12 acres of lush green land at the hilltop of Sasthagiri and is near the famous Sastha Temple at Nadukani, Kattakode, two kilometers away from Kattakkada, Thiruvananthapuram District. Its serene and peaceful atmosphere is highly congenial for a college campus as it facilitates the teaching/ learning process. There is a central library stocked with a good collection of books and periodicals. Most modern infrastructural facilities are provided in the campus to take care of both the curricular as well as extra-curricular activities of the students. The College has bus facilities connecting all major regions in and around Thiruvananthapuram District.
